While visiting my mom (Sasha's Nana) in Los Angeles earlier this month, we found this doll stroller and knew Sasha would love it. During the same trip, I visited F & S Fabrics and brought home this fabric just because I liked it. Turns out it matches our whole house. Maybe that's because I have an unhealthy obsession with these colors? Perhaps.

In addition to the Tina Givens fabric, I used solid brown cotton for the seat, brown bias tape for the edges, and pink ribbon for the top loops and seat belt. I also decided to change the seat belt to a velcro closure that's simpler for little hands.

Freckles

Found this horsie fabric over the weekend at Fabric Temptations and decided to cover a stain on Sasha's onesie with an applique of Freckles the Horse.

Then we took Freckles to meet the other horses at the blueberry farm!

At breakfast, she promptly added some new stains. Perhaps a whole stable of horsies will adorn this onesie.

New and improved

An exciting new design for Sasha's lunch bag, by me! Improved features:
-A handy carrying strap
-A velcro closure top
-Pockets on the sides for forks, napkins, wipes, cereal bars, etc.
-A different structure that keeps it more rectangular
-Addition of oilcloth lining for extra waterproofing
