Puppet theater

Come one, come all to the puppet show!

For Sasha's school, a puppet show theater. They saw one in a preschool supply catalog and asked if I could do something similar. Thanks to Amy Karol's Bend the Rules Sewing, yes, I can!

For the main blue fabric I used a sheet I got at a yard sale to save on hemming. The purple curtains are cotton from my stash, and the valances are an adorable hand-me-down fairy fabric.

A tension curtain rod holds it in any doorway, and two wooden dowels help it hold it's shape.
The bottom valance features four pockets so that the kids can also use it as a storefront. I'd like to buy some grapes and strawberries, please!

That is SO. COOL. We had a puppet theater/store/Charlie Brown style advice dispensary/lemonade stand/drive through. It got so much use. Every kid needs one of these.

This is SO adorable! I saw it in Bend the Rules as well but haven't got the inertia to make it yet. Well done!!
