Dutch bicycling

The Dutch do love their bicycles...

And the color orange! So for Dutch relatives that recently had a baby girl, a little white skirt with a row of orange bicycles on pink fabric sounded just about right.

Spring dress for springing

Inspired by this dress over at Posie Gets Cozy, I made Sasha a new dress for Spring. I had the pattern, Simplicity 5695, from when I made this little orange pom-pom number for Sasha. I loved Alicia Paulson's fabric choices, and I knew with my overflowing fabric stash, something good would come!

The fabric at the top is Heather Ross' Wildflowers in pink. The next fabric down, aqua with little white, pink and yellow flowers, is Treasures from the Past by Nancy Mahoney for Clothworks, purchased on sale at Fabric Temptations in Arcata. The last two fabrics were giveaways from friends - thank you!
