My first handmade item for baby #2.

A newborn kimono shirt using my precious stash of out-of-print Heather Ross VW Van Fabric.

Who can resist these characters?

Which one is your favorite? I love them all so much, I don't think I can pick.

The pattern is also from Heather Ross, from her book Weekend Sewing.

B.baby Gifts

A special baby was born recently, and I managed to mail these gifts off just in time. First, an appliqued onesie for the little Italian.

A taggie blanket (excuse the lack of ironing due to morning sickness please).

And a BlueBerri hat!

Be Well quilt squares

I just realized I never posted these quilt squares!

Our Underground Sewers group decided to quickly make a quilt for a friend who was about to undergo medical treatments and could use something warm and comforting.

We all chipped in fabrics from our collections and made squares following the pattern for Denyse Schmidt's "What A Bunch Of Squares" quilt.

I think it turned out beautifully, and the recipient adored it!
