This one is the largest, measuring about 8"x13", with a zipper. Boy, was that tricky. It felt like I spent more time picking seams out than putting seams in. Difficulties were only due to my own impulse to get it done fast, so I'm sure anyone else attempting this would have no problem. I mostly used The Polka-Dot Umbrella tutorial without the strap. Outer fabric was (again) gifted by co-workers as wrapping paper. The lining is white PUL waterproof fabric from JoAnns.

Then, a slightly smaller flat version, measuring about 8.5"x10" with a velcro closure.

Outer fabrics are scraps of Heather Ross Mendocino leftover from the never-ending quilt project. The lining is the same PUL waterproof fabric from JoAnns.

No tutorial used for this one, except perhaps my previous experience making velcro snack bags.

Those bags are great! I didn't realize you were making a quilt out of Mendocino- I am too! Well, heavy mendo with some other fabric mixed in. I actually just got the last batch of Mendo FQ's off Etsy this week. I can't wait to bring it to life!
